Clematis vitalba

The Clematis vitalba group is widespread and we find them mainly in the northern hemisphere. most of them grow very strongly and usually flower in late summer or autumn. The growth is so strong that over 10 metres can be reached annually. The vitalba group is in no way inferior to the strong-growing montans in this respect!
