Clematis orientalis, tang

The members of this main group combine the yellow, bell-shaped or even spherical flowers (exception: tang. ‘Anita’: flowers white and star-shaped) as well as the attractive fruit clusters (silver-grey), which remain on the plants into winter. Dried, these fruiting spikes are well used in Advent floristry. Clematis tangutica and its relatives are all very flowering, very hardy and incredibly robust. Diseases are practically non-existent.
